Happy Halloween 2020!

Happy Halloween! We did a family Halloween theme this year! Last time we did a theme, was in 2014 when we did The Wizard of Oz. Every year at Kerrigan's house, she always lets us come over with a lot of other friends, and we go trick or treating together around lake Hollingsworth. But because of Covid-19, and how crowed lake Hollingsworth is on Halloween, we decided to go trick or treating around our lake this year. I'd say I got more candy then last year. (with not a lot of people handing out candy this year.) Quin and Sawyer got to join us along with Kerrigan.
Wes decided that he was "too old to go trick or treating" this year, so he went to Aunt Cynto's and Uncle Pete's to hand out candy with Grandma.

We have seen many people with fun ways to hand out candy this year. This one house had balloons filled with candy, so that you would pop the balloons to get the candy. None of us could figure a way to pop them, but luckily Dad had a pocket knife in his pocket. (like always)

This one house had masks at the front gate that you would grab before getting your candy. It was required because "the Bride of Frankenstein is expecting." Kerrigan didn't have to grab a mask, because she had the smart idea to dress up as a doctor so she could wear a mask.

This one house even had a Wizard of Oz theme that you would go through the time machine, then touch the magic orb to be able to get a little plastic treat with some candy.
We got to run my Miss Young's house. She wasn't home, but mom texted her this picture of us in front of her house. When I told her, she said that if she was home, she definitely  would of come out to say hi.
Then, there was this one house that made you work out or do a dance move for candy. ( I was the only one who participated) then she chucked the candy at all of us.
Kerrigan is very afraid of clowns and creepy things like that, so when she started saying"No no no no no no no..." I knew something scary was coming. Ends up it was The It Clown.

Anna Kate's face at the house who gave you handfuls of candy.

Quin stayed over at the house while Tate and I went to Aunt Cynto's to go pick up Wesley. They were handing out candy the tube way where you slide candy down the tube.

I really wanted to eat dinner somewhere with Kerrigan, so we went to Fuzzy's Tacos that had a patio so we could eat outside.

Meanwhile Anna Kate and Quin were watching the Hunger Games and eating pizza in the new theature.

The Cousins Have Come!

Our cousins are on their fall break, so for some time of their vacation because their cruise got canceled, after going to the Keys they decided to come visit us. Gabe brought his girlfriend Carissa too with them too. Carissa told me that she loved parks, so mom said we could go down to Barnet Park. Anna Kate was gone singing at a football game.

Wesley has this game called Quip-lash, which we played. It's like an Apples to Apples, but online. We played this game for hours, and the answers were hilarious! Anna Kate's face says it all. Uncle Pete and Aunt Cynto also came on over for a night of popcorn, and family.

The next day was a half day at school, which we just took the day off of so we could go to Disney Springs with the cousins. Tate wanted to stay home because there are no rides. We ended up eating at this sandwich place, and then looked around at a lot of shops.

Wesley has been wanting this one Lego set that you can play, (or something like that) so when we found it at the Lego shop, mom bought it for him and is going to give it to him for his birthday.

Uncle Andrew  and  Gabe left to take Carissa to the airport in Orlando. The rest of us looked for sweets. Anna Kate and I got big cookies, and Abby got a crape. Wes didn't want anything.

Abby's stomach had hurt at Disney Springs, so she didn't eat lunch. She said later, that she wanted to eat somewhere outside with twinkle lights. So we went to Mojo Federals.

We said goodbye to them early in the morning so they could drive to the airport to catch their flight. What a fun visit, and we'll see them at Thanksgiving!
