The Downpour

Mom wanted us to walk around that a park and go to this restaurant she saw the other night when Mom, Dad, and Grandad went on a stroll. So this morning we took a walk along the park and went to a restaurant.
There were a lot of statues and history for John Wesley, so of course Mom had Wesley pose for pictures.

On the way to our restaurant Clary's, I spotted this big bug. And because Tate has been so interested in bugs lately, Dad put Tate on his shoulders and Tate hung on for dear life.

Right as we got to the best part ( the park ) it started raining which was upsetting because we only got to play for 2 minutes.

So we took cover at an amphitheater and found a ledge that we could pop under and have Mom and Dad pull us back up.

So we had to entertain us with games until Mom and Dad got the idea of calling an Uber.  So Dad, Anna Kate, and I would get in the Uber and go to our hotel to pick up our car, and we would pick up Mom, Wesley, and Tate, then Corey and Grandad. But of course as the Uber arrives, the downpour turns into sprinkles. But at least we got back to our hotel nice and dry.
Beach Time! We got to South Carolina!!!

Thank you Granddaddy! this is fun!
